A Life in Mission

Hi everyone,

I can hardly believe that AFCOE is almost already half over, and I haven’t hardly put anything up here. I’m sorry I haven’t kept up with this page.

We have been doing outreach in Penn Valley, and have found some interests, and gotten some Bible Studies. We have 2 studies that seem pretty solid, and we have several others that either we don’t have a set time for or we haven’t studied much with yet. We have quite a number of drop off studies.  I have been encouraged by the experiences that we are having.

Please pray for us here at AFCOE, pray that God will use us to reach many people, and pray that we will draw closer to Him. Please pray that God will give us strength for our studies, because we have been very busy with everything. . .

Hi everyone,

Today is the first day of outreach. We have been practicing our canvasses on each other for 2 weeks now, and so I think we are ready.  My outreach partner is Jared Miller, from Georgia, and I’m thankful to have him as a partner. Please pray for outreach today and next sunday, that God will guide us to those people that the Holy Spirit has prepared.

We had Samuel Pipim here mon through Wed this week. He had some very good points to make about our church and how higher criticism is causing trouble in the church. We can’t say that part of the Bible is inspired and other parts are not, that just confuses things. We have to take the whole Bible as inspired by God, and not try to reason away God’s inspiration. He really dug to the root of the problem.

Hello,

I’ve been here at AFCOE and I’m learning new things, and I’m sure there are things that are going over my head. We have been learning the importance of friendship and being friendly in order to reach people for Christ.

I will try to post more here as time goes on, and as time permits.

Hi,

We had a blessed time at Young Disciple Camp, along with challenges, but it was a good experience. Please pray for all the campers that came this year, that their experience will continue even after they go home.

I returned home last sunday from YD, and then prepared to travel to California for AFCOE (Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism). I left on Wednesday morning, I wasn’t in much of a hurry and I got a late start so I spent the night at a rest area, and the next morning I continued driving and soon arrived at Weimar. So I have gotten settled, and the orientation starts today. Don Macintosh talked about 7 miracles that Jesus did on the sabbath, it was very interesting. He also shared a very interesting story, I will see if i can share it a little later here.

Hi everyone,

I have a busy summer ahead of me. I’m planning to be in Idaho for 2 weeks starting the 15th of June. I will be helping the Woods prepare for Faith Camp. Then I will be back home for a week, during which I plan to climb Mt Adams, and then I will be off to YD Camp for the first week to be a counselor and to help teach the Ham Radio Class there. Then After that I will be leaving for AFCOE in CA, and I will be there until Nov.
