As some of you might have noticed, my blog has a new look! And a new address! www.lifeinmission.com If you’ve linked to my site, please update your link. (The old links all still work for now, but it’s best to update them.) If you haven’t linked yet, feel free to!
Up till now I’ve mostly used my blog pretty much just for my experiences in the mission field. I still plan to continue doing this, but I want to expand a little. You might find me blogging now about common issues that missionaries face, cross cultural outreach, about other missionaries, or about certain projects and their needs. I may also blog about books that I’ve been reading. (Mission books of course!) Â I want to enlarge my sphere of blogging a bit to be a little more inclusive of other topics involving missions.
The main topic of my blog will continue to be about missions. I want the focus in every post to either involve or cover missions in some way, shape, or form.
I’m also trying to make it more interactive, you can now use your Facebook or Google account to sign in and make a comment, or manage your email subscriptions. Currently comments are withheld for approval as I’ve had trouble with spam comments in the past, but I love hearing from you! I’ll be trying to make the comments process more seamless. Â If you haven’t subscribed for email updates you can do so by entering your email in the “Get email updates” section on the right sidebar, or sign in with Google or Facebook. (Signing in with Google or Facebook is just for authentication, the only information it typically uses is information that is already available for your contacts to see, and your email address. If you have a concern about this you can drop me a message.)
